Brittany A. Schuette, Esq., Counsel at Legal 1031 Exchange Services, LLC, is a member of the New York Bar with a practice focused on real estate and tax law since 2021. She assists clients and their advisors in navigating the complexities of forward and reverse 1031 exchanges, offering strategic guidance to help structure compliant transactions.

Before joining Legal 1031, Brittany practiced at a tax law firm where she advised on tax strategies, business transactions, and tax controversy matters. She has experience with matters before the U.S. Tax Court as well as handling a range of related legal issues. Her background in financial services, combined with roles in both real estate and tax law, gives her a well-rounded perspective on transactional structuring and client support.

Brittany is admitted to practice in New York, the U.S. Tax Court, and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Western, Northern, and Southern Districts of New York. She earned her J.D. from Touro Law School and holds a B.S. from SUNY Farmingdale.
